If your swimmer is planning to attend this meet, please register your interest with Lowri McNabb by [INSERT DATE].
This allows us to estimate the number of attendees for booking accommodation and grant application purposes.
If you do not register your interest by this date, you will likely have to make all your own arrangements and will not have the ability to access any grant funding.
We understand that sometimes parents are unsure if swimmers will attend, but please at least register your interest - and that way we can keep you up to date with information.
UNACCOMPANIED SWIMMERS
There may be the opportunity to send your swimmer unaccompanied to this meet. If you would like your swimmer to attend without a parent, please indicate this to Lowri. Each unaccompanied swimmer will be allocated a parent who will be responsible for that swimmer for the duration of the trip. Unaccompanied swimmers for this meet should be at least 12 years of age and all unaccompanied swimmers should be happily independent for a 4 day trip away from home.
GRANT FUNDING
BSC will apply for grant funding for this meet. Please note that grant funding is NOT guaranteed and you should be prepared to meet all expenses relating to travel, accommodation and all incidentals for you and your swimmer(s).
Grant funding (when awarded) can only be used for very specific purposes, for example sometimes it will only cover expenses relating to air travel (not by car) or can only be used at a certain accommodation, so again, it is important you register your interest EARLY.
